Behind the Concept
A street jacket created with plastic-wrap-based fabric. I created this material with the thought of using something that can be found everywhere. I ended up choosing saran wrap for it’s low cost, water resistant quality and its natural adhesive ability. The fabric consists of spun saran wrap webbed and knotted between two flat layers for structure and durability. The lamination would also allow for the objects to be fixed and patched later on later making this material very user friendly.
